Nominations for the South Coast Tech & Innovation Awards 2024 are in full swing, and there are few accolades in the region more prestigious than the title of South Coast Tech Company of the Year.

Sponsored by Blake Morgan, this award will be presented to the most incredible company in the South Coast region based on all its work during the qualifying period. This category is open to tech companies of any size or turnover, the only requirement is that they are based within the region.

Being crowned the definitive South Coast Tech Company of the Year can be hugely beneficial to your business as it sets you apart from the competition, presents invaluable networking opportunities and attracts new talent, partners and clients.

But how can you make sure that you have the best chance of bringing home the trophy? Here are five steps you can take towards becoming the South Coast Tech Company of the Year:

Show off your innovations

Not just any company can win such a sought-after title; to be named the best-of-the-best you’ll need to show our independent judges what makes you stand out from the crowd. If you’ve implemented innovative solutions into any aspect of your business, we want to hear about it.

Demonstrate your growth

Plain and simple, the fastest way to grab our judges’ attention is to clearly show that your company is profitable and generating strong sales. Be sure not to leave out any details concerning the growth and successes of your company when filling out your nomination form.

Shout about your products/services

We want to know every detail of the products or services at your company’s core – ultimately a good organisation is built on excellent results and now is your golden opportunity to show off yours. All the top companies from every area of the region’s tech sector are watching, prove to them and our independent judges that your business is a cut above the rest.

Show your dedication

To be the South Coast Tech Company of the Year, you need to have a keen dedication to both the South Coast region and the tech sector as a whole. Have you worked closely with other companies, fostering growth and collaboration? Have you taken part in any community building initiatives? Maybe you’ve had a hand in driving change in the way others in the sector operate? All of this will be instrumental in being singled out by our independent judges.
