BDO has secured the sale of Fareham-based telecommunications companies Telsis and Telsis Holdings – which went into administration earlier this month – reserving 60 jobs and enabling the businesses to continue trading.
The businesses, headquartered at Segensworth near Fareham, specialised in communications technology and services for mobile phones.
The two companies entered into administration on October 10 and immediately, following appointment, joint administrators Martha Thompson and David Smithson secured the sales to Telsis Communications Services, a third party entity. All of the employees of Telsis and Telsis Holdings have been transferred to the purchaser.
Smithson, BDO business restructuring director, said: “I am delighted that 60 jobs have been saved with the transfer of staff, as the businesses can now move forward on a more secure financial footing.”
