Crowthorne-based SIRE Technology has appointed Jaswinder Benawra to the position of level two-plus support engineer, bringing the number of technical support personnel at the company up to seven. The appointment is a direct response to the company's continued growth and ever-increasing client numbers.

Russell Cook, managing director at SIRE, commented: "Jaswinder brings extensive industry experience to his role along with recognised qualifications including Microsoft certified technology specialist and a graduate diploma in the management of information systems."

Prior to joining SIRE, Benawra spent 12 years with Virtual IT, a managed computer service provider based in London.

He said: "SIRE provides me with a great opportunity to move into the virtualisation environment and widen my experience.”
