Transport tech solutions firm Aurrigo International has inked a formal project agreement with Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in the Netherlands.
The Coventry business will deploy and demonstrate its autonomous aviation solutions at the airport – including the Auto-DollyTug baggage vehicle alongside Aurrigo’s Auto-Sim aviation operations simulation software.
Valued at €0.58 million, the programme is expected to play out similarly to Aurrigo’s other ongoing projects, with an evaluation and simulation phase followed by demonstration and operational deployment throughout 2024.
David Keene, CEO of Aurrigo, said: “This project with one of the world’s largest airports is a great endorsement of the capabilities of our technology and the potential of automation to improve efficiencies and solve the challenges facing modern aviation.
“We now have customers and projects on three continents for our autonomous baggage and cargo handling vehicles and simulation software.”
