Cheltenham IT service management company sells to US giant
A USA-based IT company is to buy a Cheltenham-based provider of IT Service Management.
BMC, a global leader in IT solutions for the Autonomous Digital Enterprise has signed of a definitive agreement to purchase Alderstone, with the deal expected to close in the coming months, subject to customary closing conditions. Financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed.
Expanding upon a long established partnership, BMC and Alderstone will offer powerful migration tools and services so customers can modernise their service management. Customers will be able to take advantage of the latest innovations and features with decreased risk, limited disruption, and reduced cost, time, and effort. This will give customers new ways to leverage AI with automation and data-driven decision-making in their organizations' evolution to become an Autonomous Digital Enterprise.
