Cheltenham Bamboo Technology Group buys Droitwich's TechTeam Limited
Bamboo Technology Group Ltd , the Cheltenham-based IT business has bought Droitwich-based TechTeam Limited, a provider of IT Managed Service, Cloud and Connectivity.
The purchase price was not disclosed.
TechTeam is a technology business with expertise in the small to mid-market. Established in 2006 and based in Worcestershire, the team is led by Founder and CEO, James Green.
Since the acquisition of Tech Op Solutions in 2019, and under the leadership of CEO, Lorrin White, Bamboo has successfully transitioned from its routes in telecoms service provision to become an ICT managed services provider in the Southwest cyber and technology communities.
This latest acquisition is key to Bamboo’s growth strategy and in enabling them to expand their expertise, customer base and regional MSP footprint, whilst supporting their focus on education and employment in the sector (in conjunction with both the West of England Institute of Technology and The Cyber Resilience Centre for the Southwest).

Hazlewoods Corporate Finance team and BPE Solicitors advised Bamboo Technology Group Limited on its strategic acquisition of TechTeam Group Limited. The deal was guided by Hazlewoods Corporate Finance Director, James Whittaker, and BPE Solicitors Partner, Adam Kean, who worked with Bamboo to further expand its group of businesses.
