Bristol’s Xledger partners with rugby mental health charity LooseHeadz
Xledger, a cloud-based finance software provider, has announced an official partnership with rugby mental health charity LooseHeadz.
The partnership will see the Bristol-based firm providing resources and expertise to support LooseHeadz in its goal of placing a mental health lead into every rugby club across the globe with a toolkit of free resources to support players’, coaches’ and supporters’ wellbeing as it looks to tackle the stigma surrounding mental health.
More than 750 clubs have already joined the LooseHeadz Partnership Programme, and the two organisations hope their partnership will help to exceed 1,000 clubs by the end of this year. Later this year, a new training module aimed at supporting the mental health of 10-18-year olds is set to be released, with further resources also in the pipeline.

Rob Shotton, Co-Founder at LooseHeadz, said, “This is a hugely exciting partnership for us. Having built up a great relationship with the team at Xledger, we are really looking forward to welcoming them into the LooseHeadz family, and together, working with them to tackle the stigma.”
“For us, the real excitement for this partnership is the passion from the people at Xledger for not only supporting the LooseHeadz mission, but to provide their own ideas as to what more we can be doing to support the wellbeing of players, coaches and supporters.”
The coming months will see a number of new initiatives starting in the next few months, which will place a particular focus on helping players plan for life outside of rugby.
Ian Halliwell, Sales & Marketing Director at Xledger UK, concluded, “It is a real privilege for us to be part of the mission. This partnership gives us the opportunity to support an ambitious and growing movement, which tackles the very relevant issues we face today surrounding mental health.
“We also love the charity’s innovative approach, especially because as a business we have always had a close association with sport, understanding how being involved in a team can provide a positive structure to dealing with many of the challenges we deal with on a day-to-day basis.”
