Bracknell-based Redwood Technologies Group has been ranked as one of the top 20 cloud companies in the UK by Clearwater International’s Cloudex Awards. The Group consists of founding member Redwood Technologies, which specialises in research and development, and its sister company, cloud services provider Content Guru.

Clearwater International launched the Cloudex Awards in 2013 as a way to recognise and profile emerging independently-owned companies within the UK cloud industry. As part of the shortlisting phase, a panel of industry experts select 20 companies, followed by three finalists and a ‘One to Watch’.

The selection criteria consists of an in-depth analysis of each company to scrutinise its innovativeness, position in local and global markets and its products. The panel also consider the company’s growth trajectory and financial performance.

The winners will be announced at the Cloudex Awards Ceremony on November 9 at The Blind Spot in Central London, where the industry’s top-ranked companies will come together to celebrate the progression within cloud technology development in the UK.

Martin Taylor, CMO of Redwood Technologies Group, commented: “Redwood Technologies has developed communications technology for nearly 25 years now, and we were able to go-to-market early with cloud contact centre capabilities through Content Guru back in 2005. It’s great to see that the innovation of our technology, and the edge that this heritage gives us, are being recognised.”
