BDO is one of the largest accounting firms in the Thames Valley, providing a comprehensive range of accounting, tax, advisory and business services to clients across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, North Hampshire and the surrounding area. BDO operates out of 18 offices across the UK, employing over 7,000 people, providing integrated advice and solutions to help businesses navigate a changing world.

We understand the ambitions and entrepreneurial mindset of those we work with and have the global reach, integrity and expertise to help people and businesses succeed.  The BDO global network provides business advisory services in 164 countries and territories, with 111,300 people working out of 1,800 offices worldwide. It has revenues of US$12.8bn.

We are delighted to be sponsoring the Thames Valley 250 again this year. The region is packed with entrepreneurial businesses that drive the economy and provide an enormous contribution both regionally and nationally. It’s a real pleasure to meet with business leaders across the region throughout the process, and to recognise their success through the awards. The region is home to many of the UK’s successful international businesses, and BDO is proud to celebrate this by sponsoring the international award.

Recent market conditions have presented many businesses with opportunities as well as the more obvious challenges. While growth is by no means the single barometer for success, we will be recognising businesses within the 250 that have made the most of the opportunities presented to them, adapting to achieve their maximum potential within their respective sector and in turn growing market share, via our sponsorship of the Growth and Resilience award.

Looking ahead to 2023, business leaders across the region will continue to navigate a challenging economic and political landscape. Most leaders understand the importance of keeping an eye on the future and identifying challenges and deadlines that can have an impact on their organisation. With enough time and the right preparation, you will then be able to make the right decisions for your organisation today and in the future. The main issues that we are navigating with our clients include the following:

BDO has created an interactive business timeline that will keep you aware of deadlines and other requirements for all the issues stated above, so that you can plan for and manage them effectively. The timeline covers the key aspects of any business or organisations and the relevant milestones in the coming months. Click here to find out more.
