NewVoiceMedia, the leading provider of cloud contact centre solutions, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Kev Willers as SVP Services.

Based in the company’s Basingstoke office, Willers will be responsible for global pre-sales and services and brings more than 23 years’ IT industry experience to the company.

He joins from salesforce.com, where he was responsible for customer success and partner programmes. He has also held leadership positions at Symantec and Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC).

The new position closely follows NewVoiceMedia’s investment of $50 million from Technology Crossover Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, Highland Capital Partners Europe, Eden Ventures, Notion Capital and salesforce.com, and is a key milestone in the company’s rapid international expansion.

Now spanning 116 countries and six continents, NewVoiceMedia is outpacing the cloud contact centre market fivefold and has doubled its number of staff over the last year to meet increased demand for its technology.

CEO Jonathan Gale commented: “It gives me great pleasure to welcome Kev to the team as we continue to accelerate the scale of our global operations. With his extensive industry expertise, Salesforce background and impressive leadership experience, Kev will be invaluable to the business as we further reinforce our position as leader in the cloud contact centre market. We look forward to his contribution to NewVoiceMedia’s future”.

Commenting on his appointment, Willers said: “Organisations want to gain maximum value from their IT investments, while driving innovation and business advantage, so it’s no surprise that NewVoiceMedia’s award-winning true cloud solutions, with their seamless Salesforce integration, have enabled the business to quickly expand its global customer base. As the demand for innovative true cloud technology continues to grow, NewVoiceMedia is disrupting one of the biggest markets in the world, transforming the way companies do business and driving our customers’ success. I look forward to helping support our continued growth."

Willers holds a first-class honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Leeds.
