The Business Magazine is now accepting nominations for Emerging Tech Company of the Year at our 2022 Thames Valley Tech Awards.

Sponsored by Egnyte the category seeks to meet and award those operating at the edge of technological development.

If you specialise in AI/Machine Learning, Blockchain, Smart IOT, Edge computing, Robotics, Quantum, Virtual and Augmented Reality, then this is where we celebrate your contribution to the region's tech market.

Stan Hansen, Egnyte Chief Revenue Officer said his company: "appreciates the vision, risk, skill, investment and experience that combines to launch a successful business in a competitive landscape.

"Egnyte recognise from our own global growth, the effort and strength required to innovate. We are excited to engage with the huge emerging talent in the Thames Valley region."

The Thames Valley Tech Awards were founded in order to recognise that talent, and Mr Hansen said: "Egnyte has a culture of embracing the energy, insight and ideas of all employees globally, and the synergy of great collaboration mirrors that required by a successful emerging tech company.

"Celebration of talent by way of the kudos of awards is a huge positive for Egnyte, and a benchmark of formative steps taken by the nominee companies."

But how would an eventual winner emerge from the pack of nominees?

"Egnyte would love to see ambition, clarity of market understanding, financially astute projections and workable business development planning.

"Presence, patience, great project management and technical prowess are all positive attributes pointing towards success in this competition," said Stan Hansen.

Hosted at Reading FC Conference & Events based at The Select Car Leasing Stadium (formerly Madejski) on October 20, the awards are a fantastic celebration of the Thames Valley Tech sector.

This black-tie gala event celebrates the great work being undertaken in the sector locally and is headline sponsored by Westcoast. The evening is also an excellent, indeed, exciting networking opportunity for those operating at the vanguard of technological development across the region.

Due to the ongoing success of The Business Magazine’s event calendar, the Thames Valley Tech Awards have been expanded from ten to twelve categories. Full details of those categories can be found here.
