Real estate and property advisor SHW has appointed two senior architects - Scott Theobold and Joe Swift - following the group's merger with WSW Consultancy Limited.

WSW, established in 1994, is a consultancy of chartered building surveyors and architectural designers and works primarily in the homes counties and London in both the private and public sectors, along with a number of national, corporate clients throughout the UK.

SHW has taken over the day-to-day management of WSW, and WSW Consultancy Limited was rebranded as part of SHW LLP.

Theobold will look to build SHW’s architectural services from the Brighton office. He has been appointed within the SHW Building consultancy division.

He ran his own architectural practice for 15 years prior to joining SHW.

Swift has been appointed within the Hampshire Office. He has previously worked on a wide variety of building types, altering, adding to, and building anew within urban and rural contexts.

Ryan Carson, partner and head of building consultancy at SHW, said: "I’m delighted to announce the joining of Scott and Joe within our Building Consultancy division to strengthen our specialist architectural services and expand our reach to clients across the UK."

SHW is an independent full-service property real estate advisory business employing around 200 staff. It has eight offices across London and the South East, serving clients across the UK.

It has expertise in office, industrial, and retail property, supported by its specialists in investment, town planning, development, rating, healthcare and medical, roadside, charities, LPA receivership, airports, leisure and leasehold reform.
