Smith & Williamson, the independent professional and financial services firm, has further strengthened its south coast team with the appointment of Steve Adshead as a restructuring and recovery services director covering its south coast practice.
Adshead is a chartered accountant and licensed insolvency practitioner with 23 years’ experience working in corporate recovery and insolvency.
He has worked in the Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire region for the last 14 years undertaking an extensive range of advisory and formal restructuring and insolvency work. This has been across a wide range of sectors, principally in the SME market, where he has a successful record of achieving sales of businesses as a going concern. He also has considerable experience of solvent liquidations, both stand-alone and as part of group reorganisations.
In his new role, Adshead will be working alongside Greg Palfrey as part of Smith & Williamson’s expanding south-coast practice.
Adshead said: “I am delighted to be joining the team at Smith & Williamson and to be working with Greg to provide clients with a high quality, pragmatic and constructive service.”
