The Association of Business Recovery Professionals, R3, has elected Julie Palmer to its national council.
An experienced business recovery and insolvency specialist noted for her insight and determination, Palmer is a partner in the south coast offices of Begbies Traynor, working with businesses in Southampton, Bournemouth, Salisbury and Portsmouth.
Palmer is a law graduate who qualified with PwC and ran her own practice until it was acquired by Begbies Traynor in 2006. She has over 20 years’ insolvency and restructuring experience and deals with all types of insolvency procedure with an emphasis on medium corporate appointments and bank-driven review work. The insolvencies of both a football and a rugby club feature in her specialist sector portfolio which includes healthcare, professional practices, construction and leisure.
