South East: Santander appoints new relationship director

Santander Corporate & Commercial has appointed Brian Cahill as a new relationship director for the South East of England.

Based at the Corporate Business Centre in Gatwick, but covering the wider South East area, Cahill will specialise in working with local businesses with annual turnover between £25 million and £50m, and will be responsible for building new customer relationships as the bank looks to expand further into the region.

He joins a 35-strong team including sector and product specialists in real estate, healthcare, education, asset, invoice and trade finance.

He previously worked for Allied Irish Bank and has fifteen years' experience working in the region.

Gwyn Price, regional director for Santander Corporate & Commercial, said: “I am delighted to welcome Brian to our team. He is an experienced banker committed to supporting businesses in the South East, and I wish him every success in his new role.”
