Skyborne appoints General Manager for Gloucestershire Airport base

Airline training academy Skyborne has appointed Paul Fabian as General Manager of its UK facility at Gloucestershire Airport.

Paul Fabian brings 30 years of senior airline experience to the role which will involve leading the UK management team, ensuring trainees receive the highest quality pilot training experience and driving the growth and future success of the business.

Lee Woodward, CEO, Skyborne, says: “Paul’s airline and management career will prove hugely valuable to Skyborne, strengthening our excellent track record of securing placements for our graduates and building relationships with the world’s leading airlines. Prior to joining Skyborne, Paul was Chief Operating Officer at the start-up Green Africa Airways, where he managed a team of six directors and was indirectly responsible for 430 employees. During his time in this role, Fabian ensured the safety, compliance and efficiency of the airline’s operations, strategically allocating resources to maximise operational performance.
