Reading: Stewart Lambert joins James Cowper

Thames Valley accountants and business advisers James Cowper LLP has strengthened its Corporate Finance team in Reading with the appointment of partner Stewart Lambert.

Lambert joined James Cowper Corporate Finance LLP from Tenon, a top 10 accounting firm, where he held a partner role working across the firm’s offices in central southern England.

Commenting on his appointment Lambert said: “I am thrilled to be joining James Cowper’s Corporate Finance team. The firm has an enviable client list and its Corporate Finance team is widely recognised as one of the strongest team’s in the Thames Valley delivering first rate corporate finance advice and support across the region.”

Lambert, who has spent most of his career in Reading, brings to the team a wealth of experience and expertise. Having trained with one of the ‘big four’ accounting firms in Reading he moved into a head office role with a local PLC before joining the private equity firm 3i. He has spent the past six and a half years with Tenon. He offers expertise in all aspects of raising finance, preparing owner managed businesses for sale, and on the sale or purchase of businesses. Lambert has worked extensively in the travel and defence industries.
