Reading: PTL appoints new manager

Pitmans Trustees Limited (PTL), a leading independent trustee, has appointed Martin Kellaway as manager.

Kellaway is an experienced pension professional, with over 23 years experience in Legal, Benefit Consulting and Risk Management. Kellaway joins PTL from Prudential, where he was a business development manager, specialising in bulk annuity and risk management solutions for defined benefit pension scheme. He will undertake a business development role as well as taking a number of trustee appointments.

PTL acts as an independent trustee and provides a range of governance services, predominantly to occupational pension schemes, including trust based defined benefit and defined contribution schemes and contract based pension schemes including group personal pension plans. PTL also provides a range of governance services to other non-pension trusts.

PTL director Richard Butcher commented: “PTL is a rapidly growing company and Martin’s arrival is an excellent addition to both our new business and service teams.”
