Reading: Alan Richardson joins Grant Thornton

International tax practitioner Alan Richardson has joined Grant Thornton UK LLP as a partner focusing on international and corporate tax in the Thames Valley. 

Richardson, who will be based in Grant Thornton UK's Reading office, joins a growing tax team in Reading and Oxford and has extensive experience, both in the UK and in Australia.

Perry Burton, partner and practice leader for Grant Thornton UK's Thames Valley practice, said: "Alan's appointment to the tax team continues the significant investments we are making into the Thames Valley."

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Richardson was at Ernst & Young for 15 years where he developed his career in the UK and Australia. His clients include inbound groups, FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 groups, AIM-listed groups, private equity backed groups and large privately-owned groups. He also has significant experience of running global compliance programs for international groups making sure that filing obligations in each location are managed and deadlines met.
