Oxford: New HR division head for Allen Associates

Oxford recruitment consultancy Allen Associates has appointed Jacqui Dalziel to head its growing HR division.

Dalziel has 10 years’ HR and recruitment experience gained in Oxfordshire while working for a search and selection agency as well as in-house for a multi-national provider of school holiday camps. She has been appointed to head Allen Associates’ HR team, which is led by managing director Kate Allen.

“I am very pleased to be part of Allen Associates' exciting expansion plans,” she said. “Kate will still take an active, hands-on role as she always has, but my appointment will allow her to focus on the growth and future direction of the business.

“This is a particularly interesting time to be involved in HR recruitment as the market is picking up steadily and we are dealing with a wide variety of roles at all levels. I’m fortunate to have gained dual experience working as a recruitment consultant and an HR manager so I have an excellent understanding of the needs of candidates and clients which is helpful to both parties.”

Allen Associates specialises in permanent and temporary roles in HR, PA and administration, marketing and finance.

As part of its expansion, the consultancy has also recently recruited Hannah Burton to its temporary division. Burton successfully brings her experience of working in a fast-paced event-management environment and her ability to build lasting relationships, to her new role.

She works closely with the head of the temporary division, Hannah Bush, who has recently been promoted to managing consultant.
