Henley-on-Thames: Phyllis Court Club appoints chief executive
Phyllis Court Club at Henley-on-Thames has announced the appointment of Chris Hogan as chief executive and club secretary.
The board of directors, known as ‘council’, at the private members' club carried out a comprehensive search process to recruit for the role. Hogan, who will take up his position on July 22, was selected by virtue of his experience in private members' clubs as well as his track record in member satisfaction, people management and revenue generation.
Hogan joins Phyllis Court from The Royal Southern Yacht Club where he was chief executive and secretary. Prior to his most recent role he was the chief executive and club secretary at the In & Out (Naval and Military Club) during which time he was also elected as chairman of the Association of London Clubs.
Stan Ainsley, chairman of Phyllis Court Club, said: “Council and I are very pleased to welcome Chris as the new Chief Executive of Phyllis Court Club. He has enjoyed an accomplished career in the military and has since held executive roles in private members clubs. As a result he has an excellent understanding of our industry. We are confident that his knowledge and skill set make him the right person to lead our management team and staff.”
