As an established part of the Hotel’s tradition, Tylney Hall has treated its members of staff with over five years’ employment at an annual event to honour long service.
Awards, which are presented at a commemorative tea by Elite Hotels managing director Graeme Bateman, are given to staff who have achieved over five, 10, 15 years or more of service at the hotel. This year’s event saw 11 staff presented with their awards, adding up to an amazing 160 years of service between them, before enjoying a fabulous afternoon tea to round off the celebrations.
Tylney Hall Hotel general manager Mark Robinson said: “Our long-service awards celebrate the commitment and loyalty of our staff, who become well known to our regular guests. We enjoy a long history of continuity and tradition and our staff are central in ensuring that our guests enjoy the style and luxury for which Tylney Hall is renowned. We are very proud of the longevity of service achieved by staff here and a happy team is fundamental to our ethos”.
Set in 66 acres of glorious parkland, which boasts the longest uninterrupted view in Hampshire, Tylney Hall Hotel is a Grade II listed building and remains an outstanding example of a luxury country house hotel that has never lost its old-world sense of charm.
