Hampshire: Media specialist joins Polymedia team

Experienced media specialist Jeff Travis has joined the team at Hampshire-based public relations consultancy Polymedia as a senior consultant. 

With more than 12 years’ experience in regional media, he brings a wealth of contacts and experience in news and feature writing, further strengthening Polymedia’s blend of marketers, digital and social media specialists and former journalists.

He joins Polymedia from The News, Portsmouth, one of the biggest regional daily newspapers in the UK, where he earned a reputation for his keen news sense and analytical approach. He previously worked at the Yorkshire Evening Post and Blackpool Gazette.

Travis will work across a range of Polymedia’s professional services and leisure clients, which include the national law firms Blake Morgan and BL Claims Solicitors; The New Forest as a destination and global pump sales and rental specialists Selwood.

The appointment comes as a result of several recent client wins for Polymedia, which this year developed and implemented a high-profile integrated campaign for the international airline KLM.
