The Guildford office of accountancy and business advisory firm, BDO LLP, has promoted assurance and advisory director Nick Poulter to partner.
Poulter’s career path has been a remarkable one, from trainee business adviser in 2005 to his current position of partner. His technical and practical expertise is underpinned by his diverse range of experience including advising a range of listed and private companies, with a focus on investment vehicles and listed closed-ended investment companies. He also specialises in the management of large corporate and group audits.
Prior to joining the firm, Poulter also ran his own highly-successful restaurant business. In his new role of partner, he will build on his work to date and further expand his client portfolio.
On his promotion, Poulter commented: “Following the merger between BDO and PKF, the firm is a really exciting place to be and I’m delighted to be made a partner. I’m very much looking forward to the next stage of my career with BDO in Guildford. The South East remains a great place in which to do business.”
Richard Faulkner, local partner in charge of the BDO office in Guildford, added: “Nick richly deserves this partner appointment, and as a highly-skilled and committed assurance and advisory professional will continue to bring much to the Guildford office, acting as a senior leader within the business and delivering exceptional service to our clients.”
