The award-winning Montagu Arms Hotel in the New Forest has promoted assistant manager Jeremy Whitworth to the role of deputy general manager.

Whitworth began his career at the Montagu Arms’ sister property, Careys Manor Hotel in Brockenhurst, in 2010, as a casual chef de rang.

In 2015, he was a finalist in the Young Business Person of the Year category at the New Forest Business in Brilliance Awards.

As the new deputy general manager, Whitworth will have responsibility of the day-to-day operations of the hotel, managing the heads of department and their training and development, and working closely with the general manager to control expenditure and manage the annual budgets.
