BDO Southampton team bolstered with senior hire

BDO, the accountancy and business advisory firm, has strengthened its team in Southampton with the appointment of Jo Jones as Partner.

Jo brings 18 years of experience to the firm across several industries, including retail, leisure and tourism, technology and the pharmaceutical industry.

She specialises in multinational groups, in particular those that are US and UK-listed, PE-backed businesses and privately-owned companies.

Steve Le Bas, regional managing partner at BDO in Southampton, said: "Having the right people in place to drive those ambitions, while supporting audited entities in the complex areas of audit and assurance, is absolutely vital.

"Her arrival comes at an exciting time for the firm regionally, after a raft of promotions including two promotions to partner in the Southampton office's audit team."

BDO hopes that Jo will help grow the practice, she will work closely with the audit team in Southampton to achieve this.
