Poole-headquartered Wyatt Homes has won the Quality Recognition Excellence award from Premier Guarantee for phase two of its Rivers Edge development in Wimborne. The company had already received the accolade for phase one.

The award demonstrates the recognition of exceptional site management, craftmanship, health and safety and site tidiness. Premier Guarantee held an award ceremony in August 2021 at the Rivers Edge development, which was attended by Premier’s representatives, the Wyatt Homes team and the site contractors.

Premier Guarantee has over 450 employees working across the country, supporting its clients’ construction projects and providing structural warranty and building control solutions for residential and commercial builds.

At the awards ceremony, local catering company Dexter’s Happy Street Food cooked a variety of locally sourced meat and veggie burgers and local photographer Harbour View photography captured the occasion.

Tim Warren, Senior Risk Assessment Surveyor at Premier Guarantee, congratulated Site Manager Neil Baker-Clipston and Assistant Site Manager Stuart Clark during a visit to the development. Warren said it was the best site that he had seen recently.

Baker-Clipston said: “It’s a great development to be working on, the contractors on site are fantastic at what they do and they are all so friendly, it’s a brilliant team.”

Wyatt Homes is a long-established traditional housebuilder, employing over 500 people and with an annual turnover of £37.3 million in 2018.
