Work has started on a major new commercial development in West Oxfordshire. Stanley Court in Richard Jones Road, Witney will comprise 34 self-contained industrial/warehouse units ranging from 1,026 sq ft to 2,237 sq ft in a landscaped setting within an established commercial area.

Developer Glenmore has incorporated features such as steel portal frames, low-level brick fascias and high-quality micro-rib cladding systems. Each unit will have a first floor capable of being used as offices subject to necessary consents.

Units could be combined to form larger facilities depending on potential occupier needs. They will be available to buy freehold or through a full repairing and insuring lease with work due to be completed by summer 2019.

The site is located next to a new road junction giving direct access to the A40. Parking will also be provided.

Duncan May, associate director of joint property agents VSL, said: “This is the only freehold commercial property opportunity currently available in Witney and demand is expected to be high from expanding companies and established small businesses.

“It is in an excellent location with easy access to the A40 and thriving town centre whilst also being close to successful, established commercial areas."

Stanley Court follows the success of the Glenmore Business Park in Langford Locks, Kidlington which saw 14 light and industrial warehouses pre-let or pre-sold before completion this summer.

VSL is acting jointly with Carter Jonas for Glenmore.
