The management team at Winnersh Triangle Business Park have teamed up with local Wokingham-based charity The Cowshed to donate over 150 unused blankets to those in need this winter.

Frasers Property UK, the owner and developer of Winnersh Triangle Business Park, alongside its park management team, MAPP came together to provide the charity with surplus Winnersh Triangle branded picnic blankets as part of its continued efforts to support local businesses and charities.

The Cowshed is local to Winnersh Triangle and provides much needed support to people of all backgrounds who are in crisis. The charity’s aim is to supply good quality clothes and other essential items to those in need, especially during the harsh winter months.

Since its launch, The Cowshed has received donations from the general public as well as retailers and manufacturers. The charity then sorts, washes and irons them at its premises before delivering them to those in need.

This latest donation to The Cowshed is part of Frasers Property UK’s continued efforts to support charities and community close to its business parks. Earlier this year the team took part in the ‘Do something good in May’ campaign which saw it raise over £20,000 for FareShare, smashing its original £5,000 fundraising target. Frasers Property UK will now turn its attention to its Christmas fundraising campaign which will take place across its business parks over the coming weeks. The Cowshed are included in the Winnersh Triangle campaign and the team are looking forward to working together again.

Nancy Apperley, marketing manager at Frasers Property UK, commented: “It is important that our business parks have a sense of community even in these socially-distanced Covid times. We are therefore delighted that we were able to come together with our management partners, MAPP, to support The Cowshed - an excellent charity that does so much to support the local community and some of the most vulnerable people in society.

“As we move into the Christmas and the New Year period we look forward to starting our latest fundraising campaign across our portfolio of business parks which will allow us to further support important and vital community support groups.”

Frasers Property UK is a business unit of Frasers Property Limited which develops, owns and manages residential and commercial property in the UK. It has a portfolio of business parks across the UK.
