Leading global medical technology company BD (Becton Dickinson & Co), which is moving its UK headquarters to Winnersh Triangle, near Reading, is seeking new talent to join the 260 strong office.

A global leader in medication management, diagnostic and patient safety solutions, BD is actively recruiting new associates with expertise in a range of different areas including business operations analysts, technical writing, market development, customer advocacy, sales, marketing, product management, graphic design, data analysis, engineering, and regulatory affairs.

Following the acquisition of CareFusion in March 2015, BD UKI will be relocating from its previous office locations in Oxford and Basingstoke to the Winnersh Triangle business park in early May. The new office is in a strategic location, providing connectivity to and from London, Heathrow, and the wider south England network, as well as positioning BD at the centre of a growing economic, technology and innovation hub.

Mike Fairbourn, vice-president and general manager, UK and Ireland, said: “Although the larger proportion of our people are moving  with us to Winnersh from our existing  Oxford and Basingstoke locations, there are a number of positions that we are looking to fill with motivated and talented individuals. This is an exciting opportunity for us to bring new talent into the company from the local Reading and wider catchment area. We provide an environment where our associates can develop and grow their careers and our purpose – advancing the world of health – serves as the basis for all that we do.

“Moving to the Winnersh Triangle business park is a key part of our growth strategy for the future and will enhance our ability to network with many well-known global businesses as well as the burgeoning local science and technology community.”

BD’s new offices will be home for commercial operations for all of the company’s business segments as well as support functions, technical services and a centre where the company can host customers. On site at the business park are a fitness centre and spa, café, bar and restaurant, nursery, convenience store, bank, and four-star hotel, with a 14-screen cinema a short walk away. Winnersh Triangle business park has its own train station with direct services to London and Reading, and provides direct road access to key motorway networks.
