Winchester-based Ridge and Partners LLP has expanded its team with five new appointments. With aspirations to continue growing, the office has a target of increasing the team from just over 80 to 100 by 2020.

Passionate about supporting local talent, all five of the new appointments live in the local area and cover specialisms including; project management, transport and development planning, geotechnical engineering, quantity surveying and building surveying.

Robert Innes, associate project manager, re-joins Ridge after a successful career in London, moving back to Winchester recently with his young family. Simon Totty has joined Ridge as a senior chartered building surveyor, specialising in listed buildings and historic structures. Richard Holloway, geotechnical engineer, joins the team, bringing with him experience in the investigation of contaminated land. Ken Dudley brings 40 years’ experience in town planning and transportation, and chartered quantity surveyor, Ben Walpole completes the recent new hires.

Richard Hand, partner at Ridge, said: “We are a constantly growing team, progressing from three employees in 2008, to over 80 today. Our multi-disciplinary offer attracts a wealth of talent from the region, and we are delighted to welcome our newest colleagues to the team.

“We are passionate about nourishing fresh talent, and alongside a range of senior positions, we are currently recruiting for roles, including Structural Engineering Apprentice, Graduate Quantity Surveyor and Graduate Engineer.”

Located on Moorside Road, the property and construction consultancy has worked at the centre of the local community on key projects including Lovedon Fields, a unique residential development and vision of Kevin McCloud, Winchester College and the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton. Ridge is also the proud winner of the prestigious Building Awards Construction Consultant of the Year 2017/18.
