Kier Property has gained consent for its Logistics City scheme at Solent Business Park in Whiteley, near Fareham.
Kier Property bought the three-acre employment site in August 2018 and is developing it to offer three new warehouse and industrial units ranging in size from 8,665 sq ft to 58,664 sq ft.
Joint agents for the scheme are Vail Williams and Lambert Smith Hampton.
Leigh Thomas, managing director for Kier Property, commented: “We have received lots of interest in this development – and we are in advance discussions with a party for unit three. Our contractor will start on site in early 2020, with completion expected by the end of 2020.”
Kier Property has a pipeline of £1.5 billion and has delivered more than 5m sq ft of industrial space across the UK. In addition to Whiteley, Kier Property has current Trade City schemes in Chelmsford, Gravesend, Luton and Maidenhead.
