A Midlands-based land, development and property agency is celebrating its first anniversary having clocked up more than £153 million worth of land sales in its opening 12 months.

Newton LDP has grown its operations since it was launched in July 2021 by experienced operators within the land and development sector, Richard Foxon and Piers Beeton.

The duo left senior positions in a national development and planning department at a multi-national, global property business after a combined 22 years to build a new team with considerable business and property experience.

In the first 12 months, Newton LDP has completed the sale/purchase of approximately 643 acres, with planning permission for over 3,415 new homes and a combined land value of more than £153m.

It has under offer a further 100 plus acres of land, with consent for just over 1,000 new homes and a land value of around £98 million.

Richard Foxon, Managing Director of Newton LDP Ltd, said: “It was a huge decision to jump off the diving board and leave behind lots of amazing friends and colleagues, along with the security of a large global corporate employer.

“However, we have had a fantastic first 12 months, building a trusted team and establishing a new rural property consultancy department, winning some significant management instructions, and assisting our valued clients with the acquisition and disposal of their land and property interest across the country.

“It has taken a tremendous amount of hard work to get to where we are today but we are incredibly grateful to all of our loyal friends, contacts and clients who have supported us on the first year of this exciting journey."

Earlier this year Newton LDP accelerated their growth plans with the appointment of new Director William Young, who spearheads a new property consultancy team which provides rural, development and agency services to landowners and farmers.

Piers Beeton, Director of Newton LDP Ltd, added: “It’s proved a busy first 12 months at Stockton House but we are incredibly lucky to work with such an amazing team.

“Thanks to the help, support and infrastructure at Stockton House – including the enviable Central Group Operations team. We are celebrating our first anniversary but we are probably a few years ahead of where we expected to be in terms of our initial business plan.

“There is lots more exciting news on the horizon with a number of significant land instructions in the pipeline, all of which makes us incredibly excited as we look to the future.”
