Wallingford: ARC Training safely ensconced at Howbery Business Park
The UK’s leading international provider of security management courses, ARC Training, has relocated to Howbery Business Park, joining a raft of companies enjoying the benefits of state-of-the-art business facilities set within 70 acres of the finest Oxfordshire countryside.
With specialist courses ranging from the four-day ‘Kidnap and Ransom – initial response’ to one-day workshops in ‘Corporate Response to Terrorism’, ARC Training has a full calendar of conferences which the team will manage from its 500 sq ft office on the Park. In addition to the organisational team, UK conferences will be held in Howbery Business Park’s extensive conference facilities, which include a 100-seat lecture theatre and prestigious meeting rooms in the historic Manor House.
Gavin McCormick, ARC Training's commercial and finance director, is delighted with the move from Pangbourne to Howbery Business Park which came about when ARC was acquired by Linx International.
Safely ensconced in the new offices, he commented: “We work with international blue chip clients, in fact, security managers from the world’s top five companies have attended our courses, so it’s essential we are based in an internationally renowned locality and can provide the very best on-site facilities for our UK conferences. With an OX postcode linking us to Oxford and with easy access to airports and London, plus the stunning and flexible on-site conference facilities, Howbery has delivered on both those core needs.”
Howbery Business Park’s chief executive John Ormston welcomed the newest arrivals to the Park community: "We are delighted to welcome the team to Howbery Park and look forward to supporting ARC’s continued expansion while also providing ARC employee’s with a superb base that offers a true ‘community’ feel and includes an on-site gym, restaurant, post room.”
