Haslams is delighted to announce the first letting at Total Park, Theale, developed speculatively by Total Developments. New Homes Flooring has signed a 10-year lease at Unit 1, which comprises 19,618 sq ft.
Ed Ponting of Haslams commented: "This letting demonstrates the continued strength and growth of the Reading industrial sector which has shown resilience over the past year. We are confident that this trend will continue as long as more good quality stock can be fed into the market, particularly through development and repurposing. Total Park has delivered a textbook industrial scheme, which is appealing to a variety of occupiers, with strong fundamental attributes, connectivity, and excellent environmental credentials."
Edward Chantler, CEO of Total Developments added: "We are delighted to complete on the recent letting to New Homes Flooring so soon after construction completed. When acquiring the site we knew of the shortage of new stock in the Thames Valley and the popularity of Theale amongst occupiers. The industrial sector goes from strength to strength with many of our tenants well placed to endure the volatile economic climate with the last mile delivery and e-commerce being key drivers for new growth."
Unit 2 which totals 25,590 sq ft is available to let.
Haslams and M1 Agency acted for the landlord. The tenant was unrepresented.
