Cinema company The Light opened a new 45,000 sq ft cinema and multi-leisure venue in Redhill on June 16.

The new venue is part of a mixed-use regeneration scheme in collaboration with Reigate & Banstead Borough Council.

This is The Light's 13th venue and features a six screen cinema whilst simultaneously facilitating activities including bowling, mini golf, a climbing arena, interactive darts, and shuffleboarding.

As mentioned above, this site is part of the regeneration of Redhill town centre. It also bolsters The Light's nationwide portfolio, standing as the first opened venue for the company since 2011.

Chief Executive at The Light James Morris said: ''We are excited to be opening our latest venue, which builds on the successful concept that we introduced last year in Banbury offering a multi-destinational leisure and hospitality experience.

“Our opening in Redhill is an important step in the business’s strategic growth, as we look to expand our footprint of sites across the UK and the number of leisure activities we have for our guests.”
