Thames Valley: Windsor agency Gregory & Company merges with Romans
Following the acquisition of Campsie’s residential and commercial sales and lettings branches earlier this month, Romans Group has announced another significant step in its continued expansion with the acquisition of Gregory & Company in Windsor.
This is just one of a number of successful acquisitions already under Romans’ belt since 2013, and a £12 million finance facility from its bankers is available for more business purchases.
Gregory & Company was founded by Greg Mealing in 2001, and has always focused on providing local landlords with a first-class customer service. “Deciding to sell wasn’t an easy decision,” said Mealing, “but as we’ve continued to grow I feel it’s important to offer our customers the same high levels of service they’re used to, so merging with a more established agency was the right decision for us.
“The Romans Group has a fantastic reputation in the local area and the same high levels of customer service are central to the organisation. Their experience in acquiring agencies has meant the entire process has been professional and seamless, and I’m exciting about the new services we can now offer our customers, including mortgage advice, surveying, and conveyancing.”
Established in 1987, the Romans Group has 25 sales and lettings branches across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Middlesex, Oxfordshire and Surrey, and its ambitious growth plans have led to several other exciting acquisitions in the local area, including Campsie in Staines-upon-Thames, West Drayton, and Windsor, Sherriff Mountford in Burnham, and Atlantis in Reading.
