Savills, which has a new homes division, is the latest sponsor to join the prestigious line-up of supporters of the Thames Valley Property Awards.
With a gala awards night taking place at Ascot Racecourse on May 3, entries are now open for TVPA - the biggest property event in the region outside London.
Savills is sponsoring the Residential Development of the Year category. Housebuilders and other developers and architects who would like their schemes to be considered by judges should get their nominations in by March 2.
Criteria for the category are: "This award goes to a specific housing development in the Thames Valley that stands out from the competition. Size doesn’t matter – judges will consider small brownfield developments and large housing estates. The entry could be an innovative conversion of a building – so Permitted Development (PD) schemes are eligible.
"Judges will be looking for evidence of good design, environmental impact, sustainability, and whether the scheme has overcome unusual challenges and site constraints."
TVPA supports its charity partner, Alexander Devine Children's Hospice, and the awards will be presented by Martin Bayfield, the former England and Lions rugby footballer. A former policeman, Bayfield now acts in films and television dramas and is an after-dinner speaker and presenter.
