Thames Valley: Blandy & Blandy sees increase in development land work
Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy LLP has seen an increase in development land work in the past 12 months, according to partner Katja Wigham.
She explained: “Despite the uncertainty in the property market tied to Brexit and other political and economic factors, we are delighted to have seen an increase in our work for both landowners and developers this year, and to have welcomed a number of new clients.
"While at times some deals are taking longer to get over the line, there remains a strong appetite in Reading and the Thames Valley with investors, lenders, landowners and developers taking a broader and longer term view.”
In spring the firm hosted a sell-out seminar, The Anatomy of a Development Deal, alongside guest speakers from Haslams Chartered Surveyors and Pegasus Group. On October 17, the three firms will be hosting part two in that series at Reading Borough Council’s offices. You can register here.
