Southampton: WYG joins regeneration programme

Programme, project management and technical consultancy WYG has joined the Business South champion programme to support sustainable development and growth across the Central South region.

Business South facilitates collaborative working for regional economic benefit through its network of champions and five industry Action Groups: Regenerate South, Workforce South, Digital South, Luxury South and Cruise and Port South.

The Regenerate South Action Group focuses on the opportunities, challenges and delivery of promoting the Central South as an attractive region for investment and the necessary infrastructure. Regenerate South supports and promotes major development schemes and potential sites across the Central South, focusing on opportunities and challenges to promote the Central South an attractive region for investment.

Part of the US-based Tetra Tech group, WYG develops, designs and delivers interdisciplinary projects; from technical solutions to complex challenges that support a sustainable future. Later this year, the company will rebrand to adopt Tetra Tech’s name.

The company’s Central South hub is at the Pavilion Building, on the Botleigh Grange Office Campus on the outskirts of Southampton. The Pavilion hosts a team of experts, whose specialist skills cover a wide range of services, including ecology, property and project management; town, minerals and waste planning; regeneration, environment, permitting, engineering and building surveying.
