Southampton: Vita Student acquires site for second student accommodation development

Vita Student, the UK’s only experience-led accommodation provider, is to launch its second student accommodation development in Southampton, creating another 435 beds amid ever-growing demand for high-end, stylish student living in the city.

Vita Student will start development on the site of the former bus depot on Portswood Road in January 2017, after acquiring the site where planning permission for student accommodation already exists. 

With Vita Student’s existing Richmond House residence already a popular choice for students in the city, the award-winning brand is doubling its presence on the South Coast.

In addition to its 435 beds, the Portswood Road residence will include an impressive communal area, a large social hub, movie room, gym, private dining and dedicated study areas.
