Tim Miles and Lisa Guelfi, two senior solicitors with combined experience of more than 25 years, have joined the growing social housing team at the Southampton office of Blake Morgan.
The pair were previously at Capsticks where they supervised the social-housing plot sales and asset-management teams.
Both have worked for some of the country’s largest housing associations, and have acted on several politically-sensitive regeneration projects and nationally-recognised schemes. Their clients have included most of those in the G15 group of the largest housing associations in London.
Miles is regularly quoted in the industry press and national media on housing issues, and is highly active on Twitter where he tweets on social-housing issues. Guelfi has a unique perspective on housing-association issues, having acted at the start of her career for buyers of affordable housing.
John Russell, head of social housing at Blake Morgan, said: “Being able to attract lawyers of Tim and Lisa’s calibre shows how highly regarded Blake Morgan’s social-housing practice is.”
