Southampton: Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell secures offices for Zenergi

Commercial agent Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell has secured 3 Benham Road on Southampton Science Park for Zenergi, the special energy customer services company.

Following a bespoke office search on behalf of Zenergi ahead of its lease expiry, Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell negotiated a new lease on 7,500 sq ft. Zenergi continues to expand its specialist offering to the energy sector and was looking for larger offices to accommodate its requirements. After an extensive search, the preferred option was to take the head lease on the whole building, achieved in a matter of weeks.

The detached office building is constructed over three floors with part-brick, part-clad and glass elevations under a pitched roof. Located on Southampton Science Park just to the north of Southampton, Benham Road makes up a part of the newly developed Benham Campus.

There is now 3,633 sq ft available on the first floor and some additional second floor storage/comms room facilities through separate negotiation.

Zenergi chief financial officer David Redman commented: “The Science Park is a lovely place to work, surrounded by beautiful grounds and with great onsite facilities. Our office is in a wonderful location and would definitely put any company located there on the map.”

Director Stuart Mitchell added: “The decision to stay at Benham Road became an obvious choice as other locations available didn’t meet Zenergi’s requirements. Having adapted the space it required, there is now one floor available to let. With little development in the City Centre, these offices provide an excellent alternative for occupiers looking for a flexible floorplate with good parking.”
