South: Jennifer Hobart joins Sillence Hurn Building Consultancy

Sillence Hurn Chartered Building Surveyors, an innovative building consultancy has announced the appointment of Jennifer Hobart as senior building surveyor.

“We are thrilled to have Jennifer join the team. She brings with her a vast knowledge of the
industry and her work in dilapidations will really benefit our clients during these times.
Jennifer’s knowledge of the Thames Valley area and London will help grow our business in
these locations. Jennifer is also an active APC assessor for the RICS which allows her to stay abreast of topical and technical issues which enhances the level of service delivered to our clients.” said co-founding director, Alex Hurn.

Hobart said: “Sillence Hurn caught my attention due to their enthusiastic approach towards
innovation and wanting to change how things are done to get better results for their clients
whilst also promoting a great work-life balance. I’m looking forward to helping Alex and
David continue to build their presence in London and the Thames Valley area.”

Hobart graduated from Coventry University with a BSC (Hons) in Building Surveying and is a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as a chartered building
surveyor. She joins Sillence Hurn from a multi-disciplinary firm in the Thames Valley
areas and has a passion for dilapidations and has spent the past few years specialising in this field while still undertaking a variety of building surveying roles.
