The Co-operative Group has hired Hartnell Taylor Cook to manage its non-operational portfolio in the South East. The portfolio comprises in excess of 250 properties, located throughout London, Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex and Hampshire. These include a wide variety of premises and tenancies including a shopping centre, motor showrooms, sports pavilions and farmland but with the vast majority retail units.
Hartnell Taylor Cook’s instruction includes property and asset management and the associated professional and agency role. The company already manages the South West and South Wales portfolio for the Co-op.
Stuart Howell, managing partner of Hartnell Taylor Cook, said: “We are very well positioned to handle this portfolio from our London office, where we have an established management team and can draw upon the experiences of having managed these portfolios since 2012.”
