Savills has bolstered its building and project consultancy team in the south with four new appointments across its Southampton and Wimborne offices. Karl Broome has joined as director and Davinia Potterton as senior surveyor in Southampton, while Phillip Hunt joins as an associate director in Wimborne alongside surveyor Edward Cottle.
Broome re-joins Savills having previously worked for the firm between 1998 and 2009 and has 19 years of experience as a chartered building surveyor working on projects ranging from listed and historic properties to modern off site construction techniques. He joins from GL Hearn where he was a director.
Davinia Potterton has joined the team following 10 years as a building surveyor at Hampshire County Council where she specialised in the education sector. Phillip Hunt joins from Bennington Green, having previously worked at Rider Levett Bucknell. Cottle joins after passing his APC and will report into Jon Shears at Savills Wimbourne.
Nick Ireland, director in the building and project consultancy team at Savills Southampton, commented: “I am delighted to welcome these four new recruits to the team and the wealth of experience they bring with them. We are continuing to expand our presence in the south and south west in order to provide the best possible service for our clients and match the increasing levels of demand.”
