Highwood, the leading South Coast property developer, has announced two key appointments that have further strengthened its team as the organisation’s impressive growth continues unabated.
Mark Baskerville has been appointed chief financial officer and joins Highwood following a five-year regional financial directorship post at McCarthy and Stone. He will be responsible for helping to drive Highwood’s ambitious corporate strategy from a financial governance perspective.
Tim Drew joins Highwood as a senior commercial manager following roles at Midas Construction and Balfour Beatty. Drew’s brief is to manage the commercial aspects of Highwood’s development activities with a key focus on the management of the high profile North Stoneham Park project and the ongoing agreements between Highwood’s Construction division and Vivid, the scheme’s partner.
Guy Hayward, managing director of Highwood Homes, paid tribute to his newly strengthened management team. "We’re delighted to welcome Mark and Tim to Highwood," he commented. "Both bring many years’ experience with some of the UK’s leading construction companies and I know how much their talent and professionalism will be utilised here as we continue to enjoy a period of sustained growth at Highwood."
