South Coast: Full house for Property Awards

The South Coast Property Awards, which takes place at the Hilton at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton, on July 19, is a sell-out, with a full house of 380 guests booked for the gala ceremony.

Property agents, developers, architects, lawyers, funders, housebuilders and local authorities are booked to attend the region's biggest event for the commercial and residential sectors.

Now in its third year, the SCPA, presented by The Business Magazine, will be hosted by top TV broadcaster Jake Humphrey.

From F1 to Sports Personality Of The Year, the Premier League to The Royal Wedding, Humphrey is an experienced and knowledgeable television and radio broadcaster, who currently fronts Premier League Football on BT Sport.

Having joined CBBC in 2001, by 2005 he was hosting Sportsround, covering major international sporting events such as the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, the World Cup from Germany and the Cricket World Cup from Antigua. In 2006 he also started working with BBC Sport, presenting Football Focus, Final Score and becoming the youngest ever host of Match of the Day.

In 2009, he fronted the BBC’s highly successful and award winning F1 coverage where he remained for 4 years. In 2012, his final year with BBC Sport he also hosted The 2012 Euro’s, the London Olympics, and released his first, highly successful book, Inside Track.

Humphrey has guest presented on This Morning, The One Show, Radio 2, and Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

Since 2013 he has been the face of BT Sport as the newcomer to the UK TV market has made its mark with compelling, award-winning coverage of huge sporting moments.
