South Coast: Barratt Homes shortlisted for prestigious Property Awards

Housebuilder Barratt Homes has been named as one of the best in the region, being shortlisted for a prestigious property award.

The company, which is bringing much-needed homes to the region, as been named as a finalist in the Housebuilder of the Year category of the South Coast Property Awards. It’s one of only a handful of companies in the running for the prestigious award.

Barratt Homes was shortlisted after impressing judges with its community engagement and economic impact on the areas in which it works, as well as the great design of its new communities.

Managing director Jon Green said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be shortlisted for this accolade. Being a housebuilder is about so much more than simply building homes. It’s about creating cohesive new communities that bring people together and make a real difference on the areas around them. This is something very close to our hearts and we’re delighted that this has been recognised by the judges of these prestigious awards.”

Barratt Homes is bringing hundreds of new homes to the South Coast. Among its developments in the region are Monarchs Keep in Bursledon, The Pavilions in West End, Kings Chase in Romsey and Berewood Green in Waterlooville.

The South Coast Property Awards, organised and staged by The Business Magazine, takes place at the Hilton at the Ageas Bowl on July 19.
