Private members' club Soho House has opened a new 12,000-square-foot gym at its Brighton location on Madeira Drive.

Accessed via a separate entrance to the west of the main venue, the Brighton Beach House gym has high industrial ceilings and includes resistance machines and Peloton bikes.

The gym has sea views, a sauna, a steam room, a juice bar, a workout space, a free weights area and two fitness studios.

There are also separate changing areas on the first floor of the club, which opened last year, leading to the outdoor dipping pool and terrace.

Velma Simmons, UK membership and communications director at Soho House, said: “Since opening the house, we’ve been looking at how to use the space in the adjacent building to best serve the needs of our members and create additional value for their membership.''

“Having listened to feedback and after receiving a great reaction to our existing local wellness offering and partnership with Rox Life, we’re thrilled to expand our fitness amenities further by introducing a Soho House gym.

''Every detail has been thought of, including how the sea views can be maximised to ensure the best exercise and wellness experience for our members.”
